Ginebis argenteonitens hirasei form mm 54 Seashell Sea Snail Gastropod Top-Snail Top-Shell Calliotropidae, only a piece, as in photos.
Trawled in muddy bottom of Dan Jo Island, West Side.
The peculiarity of this species is that it lacks a true periostracum, with mother of pearl discovery, as if it had been polished.
Family: Calliotropidae.
Common name: Jade Ball Silver Bell Screw.
Syn. Trochus argenteonitens, Bembix convexiusculum, Ginebis convexiuscula, Ginebis kirai, Ginebis nakamigawai, Lischkeia argenteonitens, Lischkeia convexiuscula, Trochus argenteonitens, Turcicula argenteonitens.
