Have you ever put your hand in the jaws of a shark? Have you ever thought that a person can stand in the mouth of the giant Carcharodon megalodon? Have you ever wanted to have and to show off to your neck a pendant with an authentic tiger shark tooth or Mako shark? With us all this is possible!
In this Sharks Catalog we have gathered all the material that you can find scattered also in the Other Items Catalog and in the Fossil Catalog, or what is inherent to sharks, both current and present, and extinct and available only in the form of fossils (mostly teeth, vertebrae or spines and rostrums of various kinds, since, being animals with a cartilaginous skeleton, very little has been preserved of them).
Please note that, with the exception of teeth, books on sharks (only italian language, sorry!) or other, the whole sharks contained in this catalog have all been embalmed or otherwise dried or prepared in various ways, so if you are looking for live fish (we thought of gattucci, barracuda, stingrays or other small ones) sharks) for your saltwater aquariums, you will necessarily have to navigate out of L'Arca di Noè.
As with any category, if you are interested in some specimens, remember that our catalog is subject to frequent updates, so come back often to visit us if you are looking for news.
And now... good exploration!
PROTECTED OR NOT HUNTING SPECIES.
All the sharks we sell are unprotected and therefore regularly marketable (you will not find, for example, the hammerhead shark), with very few exceptions, such as some white shark teeth with which we are running out, but with a regular certificate of conformity which attests its origin and pre-CITES capture. For those who, naively or with bad intentions, pretend to buy from us protected species or species that cannot be hunted (and the same applies to fossils of Italian origin that cannot be neither collected nor traded), we would like to point out that L'Arca di Noè does not it is an exception and is not above the current legislation: we cannot hunt them down, neither we nor others on our own, nor can we hold them, buy them, embalm them or sell them. If we have in the catalog of the species that can be protected at the moment, these are specimens that have been hunted before they became such, and the attached complaint in our possession attests to this origin and relative regulation at the reference Forestry office. In this case, we have done the preparatory work or others, it is perfectly indifferent and therefore no additional certificate is required that certifies who embalmed them or gave them to us, that we will not provide for any reason to those who, wrongly, felt obliged to request it.
In the Shark Catalog you will find jaws, crests, pendants with silver mounts, necklaces and loose teeth of many species of sharks and rays, both current and fossil, such as the famous Carcharodon megalodon, among the extinct species, or the Tiger Shark, Leuca or Mako among current ones. Also available are books on sharks and whole stuffed specimens.
