Graphium eurypylus gordion Papilio one wing lenght cm 3.5-4 Insect Tropical Butterfly Papilionidae Swallowtail. Also available in lots of 5 pcs, at this link. Common name: The Great Jay or Pale Green Triangle. Syn. Papilio eurypylus, Chlorisses harrietta, Semicaudati kochianus, Zetides euryplus, Arisbe eurypelus, Eurypleana eurypylus Graphium eurypylus (Linnaeus, 1758), is a species of tropical butterfly belongs to the Papilionidae family. The name probably derives from Eurypylus, a Thessaly king who lead the Thessalians during the Trojan War. This species can be found in the Australasia ecozone and Indomalaya (Northeast India, Southeast Asia and Australia). It has a wingspan of up to about 7-8 centimeters (2.8 to 3.1 in). The larvae feed mainly on various species of the Annonaceae family, as well as Magnoliaceae and Sapindaceae. 20 subspecies are known.
